Selected as one fo the four finalist for Hudgens Prize
Orion Wertz of Columbus have been selected as finalists along with Bethany Collins and Scott Ingram and Rylan Steele for the Hudgens Prize, a generous $50,000 prize given to a Georgia artist every two years by Duluth’s Hudgens Center for the Arts.

The finalists were chosen by jurors Shannon Fitzgerald, executive director of the Rochester Art Center, Minnesota; artist Buzz Spector, who teaches at Washington University in St. Louis; and Hamza Walker, associate curator of the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago, whose exhibition “Teen Paranormal Romance” at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center closed on January 17.
